Description

The Team Race brings together corporate organisations, clubs, institutions and groups of friends for an exciting cycling challenge built around teamwork and shared achievement. It is an ideal opportunity to promote corporate wellness, strengthen relationships and experience the excitement of the Jubilee Live Free Race together.

Rules & Requirements

1. Each team shall consist of six (6) riders: 3 Men and 3 Women.
2. The Team Race covers Approx. 74.8 km (2 laps) on the official Elite Race course.
3. All six riders must complete both laps and cross the finish line for the team to be classified.
4. A team’s official result is determined by the combined elapsed time of all six riders.
5. The team with the fastest combined elapsed time will be declared the winner.
6. An approved cycling helmet is mandatory for all riders. Only roadworthy bicycles are permitted. Riders must follow the official course and obey all instructions from race officials and marshals.
7. Dangerous riding, unsporting conduct, or course cutting may result in penalties or disqualification.
8. The Race Director’s decision is final on all matters relating to the race and results.
