Description
The Paracyclists Race reflects the Jubilee Live Free Race commitment to inclusion and empowered mobility. The event welcomes athletes with disabilities and showcases determination, resilience and excellence in competitive cycling.
Rules & Requirements
1. Open to riders with physical, hearing, or visual impairments.
2. The Paracycling Race consists of one (1) lap of the official race route.
3. An approved cycling helmet is mandatory for all participants.
4. Only roadworthy bicycles are permitted.
5. Handcycles, tandems, tricycles, and adapted bicycles are welcome where applicable.
6. Visually impaired riders must ride with an approved pilot on a tandem bicycle.
7. All participants must follow the official course and obey the instructions of race officials and marshals.
8. Unsporting or dangerous riding may result in penalties or disqualification.
9. The Race Director’s decision is final on all matters relating to safety, equipment, and race results.
