The Black Mamba Race is one of the signature events at Jubilee Live Free Race powered by The Grand Nairobi Bike Race (GNBR). Inspired by speed, endurance and determination, this category offers participants an exhilarating road cycling challenge in a professionally organised event celebrating healthy living and competitive sport.

Rules & Requirements

1. Single-speed bicycles only. Geared bicycles are strictly prohibited.
2. No drivetrain modifications. Bikes must retain a single front chainring and a single rear cog with no gear-changing mechanisms.
3. Fixed gear and freewheel single-speed bicycles are both permitted.
4. All bicycles are subject to inspection before the start. Non-compliant bicycles will not be allowed to race.
5. An approved cycling helmet is mandatory for all riders.
6. Riders must complete the full official course and follow the instructions of race officials and marshals at all times.
7. Unsporting or dangerous riding may result in disqualification.
8. The Race Director’s decision is final on all matters relating to equipment eligibility and race results.
